These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and B2B Growth Hub Limited ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England & Wales with company number 13818816 and registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. They govern your use of the B2B Growth Expo mobile application and admin platform (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility and accounts

The Service is intended for business use by attendees, exhibitors, and staff of events organised on the B2B Growth Expo platform.
You must be at least 16 years old and have the authority to act on behalf of your organisation.
Mobile-app registration is available only to people whose email is on the official attendee list for the relevant event (typically synced from Eventbrite). If your email is not on the list, please register for the event through Eventbrite first.
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised use.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
Scan or collect contact data from people who have not consented to having their details captured.
Upload malicious code, attempt to reverse-engineer the Service, or interfere with its normal operation.
Use automated systems (scrapers, bots, etc.) to access the Service outside of the documented APIs.
Share your account, resell access, or use the Service to build a competing product.
Send spam, harass other users, or impersonate another person or organisation.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, with or without notice.

3. Lead capture and data ownership

Contact details captured through QR / MECARD / vCard scanning belong to the person whose card was scanned. You act as a controller of that data for your own follow-up and are responsible for handling it in line with applicable privacy laws (UK GDPR, EU GDPR, CAN-SPAM, etc.).
You may export the leads you personally captured at an event.
The event organiser receives aggregated scan activity for their event.
We process scan data on your behalf as described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Service availability

We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance, outages by third-party providers (hosting, database, Eventbrite, app distribution channels), or force majeure events may cause temporary disruption. We are not liable for losses resulting from such interruptions.

5. Fees

The mobile app is typically provided free of charge to attendees of a participating event. Admin access may be subject to a separate commercial agreement between us and the event organiser. Any applicable fees are set out in that agreement.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, logos, and content (but excluding user-supplied data), is owned by B2B Growth Hub Limited or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. All other rights are reserved.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties (for example, Eventbrite for registration, Vercel for hosting, and a managed MySQL database). Your use of those third-party services is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of those third parties.

8. Warranties and disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or that data captured through it will be accurate or complete.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, B2B Growth Hub Limited and its officers, employees, and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) GBP £100.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and for fraud).

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless B2B Growth Hub Limited from any claims, losses, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your unlawful processing of personal data collected via the Service.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by signing out or requesting account deletion. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions intended to survive termination (for example, ownership, warranty disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnity) will continue to apply.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, subject to any mandatory consumer-law rights in your country of residence.
